Come join MAREP for an EcoTour of Baltimore's Inner Harbor! The EcoTour is a one-hour walking tour around the Baltimore Inner Harbor promenade. Our group will be escorted by a representative of the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore's Healthy Harbors Initiative, who will interpret environmental projects along the route. These projects include floating wetlands, oyster gardens, rain gardens, and Baltimore's famous Mr. Trash Wheel. Participants will get to see Harbor wildlife, touch a baby oyster, smell native flowers, and have their picture taken with Mr. Trash Wheel.
The tour will begin near the Baltimore Trade Center and end next to Mr. Trash Wheel. The tour is expected to last one hour, and participants will be on their feet for that entire period of time. Please bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable shoes!
Join us for Happy Hour! Join MAREP at McCormik and Schmick's after the EcoTour for appetizers and drinks, and network with your fellow professionals. We will gather outside in the patio.
